Oh No - Goodbye & goodluck Scooby

Hi Pups & GirlGirl,

You wouldn't believe what happened.

Mama rang Central Animal Records (CAR) to finally update Scooby's microchip details, only to be told that he had a registered owner who had reported him missing/stolen.

Oh no how could that be !!

By law here in Australia CAR is required to provide name and phone number of the person with the dog to the person who is the registered owner. Scoobys owner called mama staright away and said he wanted to come & collect Scooby asap, because he had a break-in at his place and his 3 dogs (Scooby was one) was either stolen or escaped because the fence was cut.

So sad but no choice but to return Scooby to his registered owner after he had been with us for 2 months and was finally settling in !!

We still don't know exactly how Scooby came to the private rescue person, but have since been told that some people opearate as rescue groups and re-home dogs illegally because they don't like how the dogs are being kept.

Scoobys registerd owner had pictures of Scooby who he had since he was a puppy and Scooby looked in very fit condition and is a naturally lean dog. Also when Scooby re-met his owner he obvious had a positive realtionship with him - so as much as we just want him to stay with us mama think what if that happened to one of us - we would want to come home.

So although we miss Scooby lots - at least we had some time with him and played a part in getting him back home.

Scoobys owner is now talking to the police about bringing charges to the 'bogus' rescue group.

The case of the exploding chair - Caught Red Pawed

Pups & GirlGirl,

I have been investigating the case of the exploding chair. Mama put me onto the case because it definitely wasn't me as I had slept on mama's bed that night.

I went undercover and look what I saw. It was Billy-Bob !!!

I have the evidence.

I caught him Red-Pawed.

He claimed he was framed. BUT look closely there is foam stuck to his chiny-win-win.

Bella's Mum - Pups and GG actually I think it was probably started by the big guy Scooby, but then they all joined in. It is an old chair and really only used by the dogs - mostly Kuki, so no real harm done. BUT I sure wont be buying a good sofa till the chewing has stopped!!

The Chair Exploded

It seems the chair exploded overnight.


Mama asked - "Does anydog know anything about this???"

Scooby was laying low & said "Talk to the paw"

Then off he went outside to play with his Dino-Cuz. Scooby loves his Dino-Cuz

"Hmmph" said Mama and cleaned it all up.

"Thanks" said Kuki & jumped back on her favorite chair.

Visit to the park - first Video

Well we didn't get to the beach because it was raining & cold this morning. it was looking like a boring day at home. But then the sky lifted & the sun broke through for a bit so we went to a new park that we hadn't been to before & it was great. I got to chase the ball which I love & everyone got to run around & let off steam !!
Mama took some video on her camera phone - it's really bad quality - but we hope you enjoy. Next time we'll make sure she takes the new camera.

Hi Doggies,

Mama got a new compact digital camera to replace the one that Scooby chewed up & it's she thinks it's really kewl - but it still pokes the light in my face when i'm trying to rest or sleep!!! I've learn't to just put up with it because if I move around - I only get more blinking light in my face.

Here's some close-ups of all us doggies.

This weekend is a long weekend in Australia - there is a public holiday on Monday to celebrate the Queens Birthday. I'm not really sure why they celebrate the English Queens birthday - coz she doesn't even live here - something about history!

But hey I don't mind coz it means extra time with mummy coz she doesn't have to go to work & I heard her mention that we might even go to the beach on Monday - woo hoo I lurve the beach & Scooby has never been.
